Go to southern Italy..a beautiful town called Gioiosia Ionica, airport is an 1hr drive, rental properties is around €300-€400 a month for a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom fully furnished apartment, everything is really cheap and I should know as its my hometown. I travel to Gioiosia Ionica from Perth every 6mths. just don't come to Australia..it's so expensive here
