The ‘Wicked’ star has a bunch of acting roles coming up: ‘Focker-In-Law,’ ‘American Horror Story’ S13, and the animated Dr. Seuss adaptation ‘Oh, The Places You’ll Go!’ But earlier this month Grande shared some photos from the studio and her hotline (she has a hotline) teased an LP8. Now it’s confirmed the pop star’s new album ‘petal’ will arrive this summer. She executive produced and co-wrote the 12-track LP with ILYA, her regular collaborator since “Problem” (released exactly 12 years ago today). Grande describes ‘petal’ as “something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.” There’s no advance music yet, but ‘petal’ will be out July 31.
