@not4.mxthew: The idea that all human beings are equal is often treated as a fact, but in reality, it is more of a comforting story than a true reflection of the world. While people might start from the same point at birth, this equality quickly disappears as soon as they begin to make choices and develop their own paths. True value in society is determined by a meritocracy, which is a system where your position depends on what you actually bring to the table. This doesn't just mean hard work or intelligence; it also includes social value. For example, in any social circle, people who are more charismatic, funny, or engaging are naturally seen and treated differently than those who are not. These social skills are a form of merit that creates a clear hierarchy. Furthermore, success in this system depends on the courage to act. Those who step back in fear or wait too long for a "safe" option often watch their opportunities disappear, while those who take risks move ahead. In this view, inequality is not a mistake or a failure of society. Instead, it is the natural result of a world where people's different talents, social behaviors, and willingness to take chances lead to different levels of success. #ayanokoji #quote #edit #stoicism #philosophy

Socially we aren't. Physically and philosophically, we are. You're changing the meaning of what "Humans are all equal" means. It doesn't mean that we're all literally on the same level when it comes to power, money etc. It means we're all human.

Equality isn't about everyone being the same getting the same or doing the same it's imposed as a requierment for a fair meritocracy
