Who puts babies in daycare? Daycare is for toddlers right? Toddlers need to learn to socialise with others, how to share toys and get on with others. Can't do that at home without peers. Daycare is required.

As someone who worked in/helped run a daycare for many years…I completely agree with this take. The socialization when they are toddlers can be beneficial but tiny babies who spent more time per week with me, hardly getting one-on-one attention bc I was also taking care of other children, and not at home with their parents truly broke my heart. I was there when little ones said their first words, learned to crawl or walk…and their moms missed these moments…to work a job just to afford daycare. It’s unnatural 💔

I disagree. My kids were in daycare when they were 3 months old. Now they're 11 years old. 2 beautiful boys. Affectionate and loving and extremely social

Not true! I’m a preschool teacher of 20 years. I love all of my students all day long. Not everybody can stay home. Especially with this economy. Thank you to all the preschool teachers who care for the young children. You are superheroes.

I am a parent of two toddlers. I disagree 10000 percent . Kids need to be out and socialize and learn. There are something’s that kids can’t learn at home. Being home all the time creates a shell around them . They need to explore . Yes daycare is expensive,but it’s worth it. Having them be in daycare creates fun conversations during dinner about what they have done and learned
