to be fair, many people are using high reasoning AI for the simplest of tasks like basic excel formulas or bash grep commands

For a work project,we needed some short 3D animations. I contacted an animator and asked them for a quote to do it. When I presented the quote to management I was told to use a generative model instead. We have spent more on tokens than what the animator would have charged,and the animation is not really what we needed.

We shouldn’t start thinking about changing the value metrics for AI. We should be getting rid of the entire capitalist system that created it and distributing the wealth of the billionaires amongst the people.
