I’ve changed nothing else from before I started 6 months ago in my lifestyle. Walking has been such a gift in my life. Here are just some of the results or changes I’ve noticed: ✨I have lost 25lbs and it feels like even more than that. If I kept that up for the whole year it would be 50lbs just from walking! ✨I am finally making time to take care of myself. I used to put that last on the many things I needed to do in a day. My cousin recently said to me that an hour walk is just 4% of your day. We can give ourselves that much in a day for our health! ✨I’m truly building muscle and feeling that in more than just my legs. ✨I have seen big changes in my energy levels and also in my focus levels. Practicing that persistence of continuously walking for an hour every day has been powerful in that way. ✨ My mood is better overall. ✨I’m sleeping deeper and waking up less groggy. ✨My speed on walks has improved without even trying to push it. ✨Weirdly, my hair is getting thicker. I think that’s probably a sign of reduced inflammation overall which I’m thrilled with. Overall - couldn’t recommend starting a walking commitment more. It’s a lifelong thing and I can’t wait to see where I am at the full year mark. Bring it on!!
