As someone who was wildly inconvenienced by MTA today I really wish they’d stopped with the pushing ppl to use transit. It was perfectly fine years ago when cars and MTA could coexist, and the buses and trains weren’t overly crowded

I take the bus and trains in that area all the way into kings plaza, a single lane isn't needed the traffic is going to get bad for regular cars, there are certain areas that are too congested to do this, and there's a trains that support these routes already I rather they spend the money there, the buses are fine there. he's adding all these lanes as if to make up for knowing he can't get the buses to be free like he promised.

I starting researching cus this is everywhere ( Boston blue hill ave) I notice same roads bus lanes and same architects for buildings. Big 3 consulting firms: Nelson\Nygaard, Alta Planning, and Kimley-Horn. Its deep. They r paying cities heavy to adopt the style—i could go on but…

Man made congestion that they in turn will find a way to charge us for. This is a main artery in traffic that is now being slowed down to a crawl. The wait till they lower the speed limit.
