As somebody who was literally written off by a doctor telling me that I had allergies when I had a severe chronic cough sometimes the doctors are wrong. Just saying I did not have a severe chronic cough. I was having an allergic reaction to one of my medication‘s, but the first doctor I saw said oh it’s allergies when it was the dead of winter. After months of having this chronic cough, I found another Doctor Who diagnosed me with an allergic reaction to a certain type of medicine.

If there’s some kind of illness there, the Emergency Room is not gonna cure it that’s why you have to go to your private doctor and let him run your medical screening.

Why do so many people not realize what the ER is for, people go there for multiple reasons and situations, the ER staff does all their checks, any radiology, blood work it’s almost they aren’t searching for what is wrong at the moment but what isn’t wrong so they rule out specific situations(heart attack, stroke, appendicitis, etc) once the ER staff clears you that there is nothing immediate with why

I went to the hospital cause I felt like I was drowning no matter wtf I was doing throughout the day and doctor straight up told me I had anxiety and wasn't going to prescribe me meds and that I need to talk to a psychologist or whatever, then left, ended up another day to a different hospital and find out I had a pulmonary embolism and could have 💀 in my sleep and on top of that I was significantly anemic 😨😩

one time in er, they ran tests but they didn't wait for results then the nurse came to me and she said I need to leave that I wasn't sick enough. so I left. when I got home the phone ran...they begged to come back. finally I did but I was angry. I had an infection.
