The day before my grandfather passed away he kept saying my grandma’s name (who passed away 9 years before him). The next day he kept asking for the time. Said he didn’t want to be late for his date at 3pm with my grandma. He passed away at 2:55pm so I guess he was right on time ❤️🥰

I had a patient who wasn’t even on hospice tell me “my wife came to see me, she’s getting ready for me and will be back in 2 days.” (His wife died many years prior to this) sure enough, I was in the middle of a bed bath 2 days later & he started to smile and said “she’s here.” I asked who? Cause it was just me… “my wife. I need to go now. You take care of yourself.” He closed his eyes and died right then and there. The next day I applied to work for Hospice. 🤍

In his last week, my dad was receiving "visitors," and we thought they were hallucinations until, about 2 days later, we realized that only people who had already passed away were arriving. One day we saw him trying to make room in the bed; it was so hard for him to move, but he was determined, so we helped him and asked him why. He said that Grandma had arrived. He died within the next few hours.

This happened with my father in law. Our nephew who didn’t have a close relationship with him passed before him due to *committed*. He said Jr why are you here and I asked him did he say jr and he said yes. He said “don’t worry he’s ok” and then he named off all his passed family and friends. He kept asking me to take him to the window and that he had to leave. It was the most emotional moment I’ve ever witnessed.

i had a resident with dementia who hours before she died she wanted to introduce me to her mother who was standing in the room with us. her mother had been deceased for decades. but in her world, mom was standing there to pick her up. and i felt honored to meet her mama 🥰

My granddad died in 2017 at the age of 93. One month before I had his first and only great-granddaughter. His mother died in a horrific train accident when he was 8(I’ll spare you the story of the exceptional man he became and the life he saved along the way), so he hadn’t seen her in the flesh in want? 86 years? But something miraculous happened. A few days, maybe even 24 hours prior, before he died. He was laying in his bed pretty well unconscious. But he suddenly reached up and said “mommy I see you!! Mommy I’m coming!!” Just clear as day. He died very shortly after. But. It just got to me. My extremely strongly and gently quiet grandad just needed his mama. And he got her.

My mom did this before she crossed over. She was also moving her feet like she did when she danced with my dad when he was alive. I truly believe that he came to visit her and danced with her before she passed. It was so beautiful and I carry that memory with me now in comfort.

Can confirm! I am an ER nurse but spent time on an oncology unit. Patients who are passing see their loved ones who have passed, they even see pets!
