The McKinney-Vento Act was written to protect you. When you talk to the school Liaison, you aren't 'reporting yourself' you are 'claiming your rights.' They have to give your kids bus passes, clothes, and food without a single question. Don't let fear of a 'broken system' keep you from the resources that are legally yours.
