That's correct. In the Igbo calendar 4 days make one week, 28 days make one month, and 13 months make one year. The market days are named after the four market days in Igboland, for example Eke Amichi, Afor Agulu etc. The four market days in Igboland represent the four angels who were sent to Igboland from the four cardinal points of the earth namely, North, South, East and West. In Igbo cosmology , the names of the four market days, were the names of the four angelic spirits who came to Igboland. Their names are Eke, Orie, Nkwor, and Orie.
