I’m self employed about 1/2 way through my treatments. If I stop working I lose my business I’ve spent 17 years building and 60% of my family’s income. Treatments Monday-Wednesday. Working Thurs-Sunday

My 23 year old son just got round 5/12 today. It's the wildest most unpleasant rollercoaster we've ever been on, but I just keep telling myself there is so much more life without cancer on the other side of this than this little blip. He's already cancer-free and feeling better at some point in the future. ❤️

In the time I had chemo everything seemed not so big, stressful, serious…. But then life after … I’m trying to remember those things but being thrown back into adult hood fighting to pay bills and what not… what an experience

I’m getting the same chemo you did. Also an RN. Luckily HR was able to place me in a position with cooperate care in the office. I’m still working (a modified schedule). It’s weird lol

So in May of last year, my life changed too. And now I struggle every day putting up with the petty BS of the work drama. Life’s too short to have that much anger in one’s body. Love is strong with you!

I was supposed to be back at work in March but my work would not accommodate me on shorter hours or a shorter work week. They want me back at 100% . Not sure I’ll ever be 100% now the date is August 1
