for some reason as of recently I've gotten really into the military, mostly the aesthetics of it but im also just doing a lot of research on it and on wars/warfare and stuff like that and every time I tell someone this it's always the same reaction: "oh do you plan and signing up for anything like that when your older" and then i always have to explain no i don't even like the military, in fact im very against it i mean i like the idea its good one i guess but im already very anti war so i would just prefer if we didn't need it even though i know its sadly unrealistic

the US military is a system that is entirely meant for spreading the US's capitalism and imperialism, while exploited those who arent as powerful as us. those who join the military are either not educated enough to know this or are fully aware yet join and fight for it anyway. the US military was never about "protecting the country and its citizens"

I hate how predatory the military is. My dad was 18 when he was enlisted and both his parents died when he was 17. He went for school, otherwise he’d be homeless. Winded up believing he was doing something good, then wind up disabled and became a sponsor for addicts. He went out out his way to let people live with him to get them back on their feet. He gets in one bad accident, and his military hospital sends him to spiral in his addiction and caused his death years later. They do not care for their own and never did
