Am I the only person who finds public domain horror to be the definition of slop? Like you can pretty much create ANYTHING with this, a comic series, a tv show, clothing, games, books or even a full on musical but you decide to make a low budget "scary" filmslop that like nobody is gonna watch instead of creating something actually interesting or maybe thats just me? 🤷🏿♀️

Micky is still Copyright, Steamboat Willy is PD, Not Micky. Micky was a redesign and had a separate CR on it. So as long as you use Steamboat Willy, its fine, but if you put red pants/suspenders and big white gloves and yellow shoes on him, thats still CR Protected.
