@slayover50ugc: There are many days when I can’t remember most of what I’ve done in the morning and this has been going on for years. That’s why I have to have a checklist so I remember whether or not I’ve brushed my teeth or showered that day it could be due to some of the medication I take for sleep and anxiety, but the fact that there are other unrelated issues where I skip steps or do things like turn the faucet on and wait for the light to come on tells me there’s something deeper going on. Of course, the atrophy in my brain is a clear indicator that changes are happening and the medication I’m on doesn’t cause your brain to shrink. #mildcognitiveimpairment #borderlinedementia #youngonsetdementia

I day this with love. Ativan is very easy to be dependant on. my ex husband, started taking in in the early 2000s and quickly got dependent. No matter how hard he tried he could not off of it. He is a different man today and now has dementia from Ativan and alcohol. But yes Ativan can cause Mild Cognitive and dementia. Here is an study on it.
