This is the Dark Fishing Spider, one of the largest species in the United States and easily one of the creepiest, but why did @raytiller let it walk all over his face? To prove that even the most menacing of spiders are typically shy and harmless to people.   A bite from this spider would hurt, but only because its fangs are MASSIVE, as their venom is considered harmless to people, and bites are exceptionally rare.   Fishing Spiders also play a vital role in their environments by controlling the insect and small fish populations, so if you see one in the wild, just know they are serving a purpose and don’t want anything to do with people 😌   Could you make it through this arachnophobia test?
