Central Florida here. I also am having Mimosa take over my lawn. Note, you must commit to Mimosa because you will never get rid of it and it can take over your neighbors lawn without a barrier. But it blooms all spring and summer and is so drought tolerant. I don't mow so it seeds and spreads.

I LOVE these, didnt know theyre calles frogfruit 💕 Also those tiny pink 6 pointed stars that grown in little bouquets, no idea what theyre called but the bees love them and they close into bulbs at night 💕
