He IS a selfish character, but people get mad when you say that because they assume being selfish is bad. He saves people because HE doesn’t want to watch them die, it’s very heroic but with a selfish desire. But that selfishness is what makes him a great hero and drives him forward.

Todos estaban asustados en esa escena, pero Izuku siempre ha priorizado su espíritu heróico por sobre cualquier miedo que pueda sentir. Incluso sin poderes eso se ve. Entonces no sé por qué le dicen egoísta cuando iba a actuar cómo siempre. Más bien, imprudente sí es, pero no egoísta.
