@vintage.newjersey: The original Mantoloking Bridge, built in 1938, once carried Route 35 across Barnegat Bay, connecting Mantoloking and Brick Township. A new bridge replaced it in 2006, and while it was damaged during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, it was repaired and still stands today.
