Cross and just said "read this." no context nothing. i read it in two days and now i understand why she didn't wanna explain over text. the way D. TBH, I’m over paternity-testing her songs. It’s so much more meaningful and fun when I look at them through the lens of poetry, sound, and my own lived experience. The connection hits deeper when it’s about what it feels like to me. I’ve also stopped holding her to some impossible standard, she’s human, like the rest of us.
