@melissamartellart: I loved making this tattoo for Courtney. She liked mid-century style Tattoos and her request was to do something Halloween themed. She gave me a list of different things she likes such as cats and pumpkins and gave me creative freedom with the design and colors I chose. She was also very open on the placement of each piece. We did these in one session. I’d really love to do more like this! I especially liked working in a limited color palette and love how this turned out. For those who don’t know me I'm Melissa, a queer woman tattoo artist based in Cleveland Ohio. I’ve been tattooing for about 10 years. I own The Glass Cat, a private tattoo studio in downtown Cleveland. Some themes I enjoy tattooing are vintage inspired, mid century style, anthropomorphic, cutesy stuff. I like making bold tattoos in color or black and gray! I also love doing cover up tattoos.
