The sad thing is it is mind blowing the number of people that think they don’t lay without a rooster. When we first got chickens and purposely bought only hens because I didn’t want more chickens everybody was like oh they won’t lay without a rooster.

I will say…. I HATE how messy my ducks are… but I have a child who is allergic to chicken eggs and apparently might tolerate duck eggs better 🤷🏼♀️
