I was once on a train where a man was literally jerking it onto a teenaged girl and i was the only one who spoke up. I ended up & after i did and the creep got off the train I looked around at all the men and asked them what the fuck. They all just stared at me in silence. I hate it here

I was being openly accosted by two men at a bus stop in Chicago. I walked behind a man to put a buffer between me and them. Not only did the buffer walk away from me, but we boarded the same bus and he refused to look in my direction. Men have NEVER protected me in those situations.

Caution: The Text is a bit lengthy. In my opinion Your judgement would have been more constructive, It’s possible they sat and did nothing which could be wrong(morally) on their end, but again, they might not entirely know what’s going on as you concluded or what caused the uproar, they might have thought it’s something personal between the ladies and the dude, the lady who approached the situation was as you stated a worker who had the legal backing to step into that kind of situation (this is not gender specific). In some cases not being involved saves you a load of problems. Note this is not supporting their silence nor is it condemning it, because there’s actually no context to that video, cus you didn’t show the video in full(we are basically listening to your own opinion on this). Fellow men please let’s remember that we shouldn’t let negativity around our circle, we shouldn’t stand and watch harassment if we know we can intervene and we have counter measures to handle the situation Incase of an escalation(call the cops). Let’s all try to be peace oriented individuals and stand for what’s right while exempting yourself from violence or harm 👍. We Learn, We Grow.

I took a situational awareness class not too long ago and the instructor made each of us practice squaring our shoulders, inflating our lungs, and *BELLOWING*, "GET BACK! STEP AWAY FROM ME!" We need to stop placating them and go straight to full-throttle.
