In Germany, we also have credit scores. Basically, your score improves when you pay your bills. You don't need a loan, and you don't need a credit card either.

In Mexico we got “El Buró” or The Bureau that says if you are a good paying consumer, and if youre not; you can be banned from having loans up to 6yrs based on what you owed and who you owed that
