1. Eat enough carb, don’t cut your calories
2. Don’t over training (should be around 2-3 time a week)
3. Don’t be like me, cut and overtraining at the same time. At that time, my 5K pace was 9:00/km. Then, I don’t cut anymore and quit for 6 months. This time, my first 5k was 7:36.
4. Buy yourself a good running shoes(based on your demand, like 5k to 21k, or something like that). If not, u will spend entire a week at home because of swollen foot like me :)
5. Build running schedule, like rest, interval, long run and tempo. Don’t just try to run further and faster than last time. Because every post-run will be a nightmare
6. Buy garmin or some smartwatch that allow you to track your run. Based on that data, u can determine what zone, pace are u running. It really important to build running schedule.
7. Sleep well
