I’ve never cooked my onions and peppers before adding them to my mixture, but I think I’ll try it next time. Also, I use a sweet pepper (orange, red or yellow) where you used a green mango. My momma taught me the way you make it, with the green, but I think I like the sweet better.

your meatloaf looks relish. I do pretty much the same but use a box of stove top stuffing to 2lbs of meat and use more ketchup with a little brown sugar for a glaze. will try using the fried onions, sounds yummy!

We do one pound of ground beef, one pound of ground pork, one egg and a box of stovetop stuffing savory..salt and pepper, Mix it and throw it in the oven. It is so good.

I make mine like that with the exception of Tony's and the Fried onions, but I will add the fried onions next time!! Yum!! I do put a couple slices of bread on the bottom of the pan, it soaks up a lot of the grease.

I use a jar of salsa (has the onions and peppers in it ) onion soup mix , seasonings , eggs , crackers , ketchup ! Delish!!

I blend the eggs and heavy cream. I put the fried onions in the meat, never thought about putting them on the top!! I have to try that.
