My theory (mind you I have no knowledge of her life or experiences) was that during the filming of easy A she was watching a new waive of female comedians coming into the threshold (Emma Stone) and maybe saw herself being phased out. Like a few years back she would have been the main star but now she was a supporting character. So based on what we can only speculate from her experiences as a child star and what adults may of exposed her to. She started questioning was all of it worth it and she started to spiral. Again I don’t know of any of this is true it’s just my theory.

She’s doing really well mentally now. She stated that she got major therapy for PTSD and anxiety. I’m happy for her. If she’s happy and doing good, then that’s all that matters.
