Hey girl! I don’t know if you’ve ever swam in a mermaid tail/are planning to, but please please please look into groups who also make tails and research the safety of them!! They can be super dangerous if not used properly and a lot of silicone isn’t skin safe! Good luck with your project!!!

Definitely check out some Facebook groups about tail making. Some silicone (like caulking gun silicones) are not skin safe and can cause irritation and rashes. Also please be safe if you plan to swim with this. silicone tails are so much heavier than fabric tails. looking forward to seeing the finished product.
