This happens all the time! It's even worse when I pray while in bed, I'll diverge off on some random thought then pass out asleep. I don't think it upsets the Lord, I honestly believe he gives me the sleep to shut me up...in a most loving way obviously 😂

My grandfather was a Sunday school teacher and I mentioned this to him as a teenager; he lovingly reminded me that God is omniscient and omnipresent - and that there was nothing that I could forget to mention in my prayers that He didn’t already know was in my heart and mind, because he already knew every second of my days and how they would weigh me… so, even if I rambled on or forgot the point I was trying to make, God always knows exactly what I need, want, or am trying to say — even in the times when I don’t. 🥰
