I remember being home sick from school in the ‘80s and my mom blasting her cassette tapes as she went about her chores. She passed away when I was 12, and all my memories of her are around music. I have all of my mom’s ’80s music downloaded on my phone and blast it daily because it warms my heart, even as the pain of losing her still aches like she passed this morning. Thank you, Linda Creed, and love you always, Mom! ❤️

The song in question is Greatest Love of All, not this one. It was given to George Benson who released it in 1977 on the Double Album, Weekend in LA. The song was later recorded by Whitney Houston who took it to even greater fame. Some purists however still prefer the authenticity of the original GB version to the commercial feel of the WH version
