She’s one of the most studied vocalists of the new generation, that’s why she called the Vocal Bible. Artists like Kehlani, Jojo, Tori Kelly, Mario, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Coco Jones, SZA, Jhene Aiko, Hozier, Jazmine Sullivan, Keke Palmer, Josh Levi, Christina Aguilera, Melani Fiona, Flo, June’s Diary, I literally can’t name them all😅Have been studied Brandy vocally. Also, she has influenced a lot of her peers like Erykah Badu, Kelly Rowland, Britney Spears, Missy Elliot, Tyrese, Tank, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jill Scott, etc. The greatest vocalists before our time considers Brandy to be one of the best vocalists of this generation, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Kim Burrell even Mariah Carey. It’s hard to teach tone but Brandy just has it. Majority of the R&B artists we listen to today have studied Brandy vocally, I believe this is the reason she is given the title ‘The Vocal Bible’.

and I think it's so disingenuous to make these videos where you can just goggle who gave her the moniker and it wasn't daily consumers who gave her the name it's literally Vocalists

It’s about influence not necessarily to say she’s the best. Like for example influencing vocal layering. She didn’t invent it or is the best but again she was the one that influenced people. a lot of modern R&B vocals pull from Brandys influence
