So in Ghana, when interlocking blocks is chosen, a rubber sheet or tarp is spread on the ground before the bricks are assembled on the ground….This stops weeds from growing through the spaces

I’m actually on this stage now but i couldn’t find any helpful comments, based on the cost of materials in Nigeria now, which is better for pocket friendly and can’t be regretted in the future. Last month i priced gp tank 500littrs and I was told 165k and yesterday i priced it and they say 200k you can imagine the stress of building a house in Nigeria.

I had concrete stamping in December, After spending a lot. Over 200 bags of cement with 40tons of sand and 30tons of granite. Yet, It started cracking after 2months. I can never advise anyone to go for concrete stamping.

for the grass part, though ex expensive,nylon sheets is first placed on the floor before the sand to avoid direct rain or sunlight to the earth

I think we would choose based of the topography..... I don't know much just an idea there are sins places, if you did interlocking, it's the best for that area, and same as concrete too

interlocking brick if you want grass not to grow on it .you must mix cement with sand and water .cement 1 sand 5 to 7and lots of water and mix and pour it on the surface ,clean it with brushes to enter in the space and the end clean the upper surface with water
