i once read a tiktok that said: "i can never go broke because i know how to trade." and that one sentence gave me the exact perspective shift i needed. i realised i already had the skill to never go broke again. i knew my setups. i could read the market. i had a strategy. i had spent years building something that could make me money for the rest of my life. i just wasn't using it. for so long i was stuck in this cycle of losing, doubting myself, trying to "become profitable" — like it was some future version of me who had the answer. every day felt like a fight. fighting to read the market right, fighting to follow my own rules, fighting to become the trader i already was. because that's the part i couldn't see. i didn't need to become someone else. i didn't need to fix everything about myself or keep hunting for the next answer. i already had what i needed. my only job was to use it. that realisation gave me more calmness and self-trust than any strategy ever did. i stopped sitting at the charts scared of what i might do wrong. stopped spiraling through every way i could mess up, break my rules, blow another account. i started trading from "i already know how to do this" instead of fear and desperation. the bad habits didn't disappear overnight. but they got quieter. the urge to force something, overtrade, panic — it lost its grip, because i wasn't proving myself to myself anymore. i was just trusting what i'd already built. maybe this is the sentence you need too. you might already have everything you need to be profitable. you already know your setups. you already know how to read the market. the skill you keep searching for might already be yours. you don't need more. you need to trust what you've built - and actually use it. #tradingjourney #trading #tradingpsychology #tradingmindset #howtotrade
