Then society hands you a line about what a real man endures. But here is what nobody says clearly. You have an option. You can leave. You can pack, find another house, and start rebuilding alone. And rebuilding is far easier than men imagine. What is hard is spending years in an environment where you cannot think, cannot focus at work, and cannot grow. Let me be clear about something. I am not against marriage. Marriage is a good institution. The problem is rarely the institution. It is people unwilling to do the work inside it. But protect your peace. Protect your self respect. Not respect from someone else. Respect from yourself. The things you refuse to tolerate because you value who you are. You are not required to suffer to prove your manhood. Style up.
