Like, the nurse is not wrong, but she should have said it better. Like if you’re not progressing and you get over tired you literally can’t push. It’s like coming to the end of your reps when you’re weight lifting - you hit a wall and you literally can’t do it

I was BEGGING for a c section after 10 hours of active labor and my epidural failing and they wouldn’t give it to me until they checked me again and realized my babies head was stuck in my pelvis and swelling. Then we had to wait another 4 hours because my doctor was in another surgery
