The point of a loud car is exactly the same as the point of music in a movie. It makes you feel something, it makes the experience emotional. Hearing a loud racecar for the first time is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. This is why carpeople say EVs are soulless. Another thing I learned during writing my academic paper for university, a very powerful marketing tool is to give human traits to your company or product, because humans very often make their choices based on how they feel, purchases are not rational, they are emotional. If you know the voice of a person you can recognize them without even seeing them, this is why many car manufacturers spend hundreds of hours on creating the perfect exhaust note. There’s nothing like the AMG V12 in a Pagani, the flat-6 in a Porsche, or the V12 in a Lamborghini. If you’re unto cars, you can tell what car you hear even if it’s 2 blocks away.

I don't mind a muscle car being loud cause that's what it does but I'm tired of these small ass cars and trucks that has no business being that loud driving down the road, like there's no point in those cars.
