Many refugee shelters made of bamboo and tarpaulin are vulnerable to damage during storms. Heavy rainfall can cause waterlogging, landslides, muddy roads, and flooding inside the camps, making daily life harder for families. Strong winds may blow away roofs or weaken shelters, creating fear and insecurity, especially for children and elderly people.
