Genuinely why we need female representation in policing. My friend was five months pregnant and holding her older baby when her husband was screaming at her and then tried to grab the baby out of her hands. He wouldn’t stop, she shoved him and scratched him across the face to get him off of her and ran into the other room. His story was that she was raging and refused to give him the baby and attacked him, thank God there was a female officer on scene who was a mother herself who put her boot metaphorically on his neck and did not let go. Because why should your pregnant wife feel scared to let you come near her or hold your child?
