I lovveeee to ruin a good day with listening to songs that remind me of my dad 🫠 it’s always when I’m at the gym too and I have to go cry in the bathroom for a minute. Even after 5 yrs, I still cry almost daily!

I feel this more than anything right now my mama left last year July 29th 2 days after my first daughter turned 2 years old and it's coming up on that makes me not even want to celebrate my own babies birthdays 😭

My mom passed unexpectedly Oct. 15, 2017. Two weeks after I turned 30. Grief hits at the most random times. Our oldest boys are graduating in two weeks and man my mom would be so proud of them. I wish she was here for this next step for them. Been missing her a lot lately.

Grief is like glitter, its never truly gone, even when you think youve cleaned it all up, the sunlight comes in and shows you a piece you missed. You deal with the pieces as they show up, randomly.

My mom passed in October of 2019 when I was 13. Still to this day years later it still happens all the time it could be a song, smell, or something so random but it makes you think of them just know your not alone. ❤️

Grief is weird. I try really hard to not hate spring but it smells like my mom. Like spring time in Kentucky literally just reminds me of my mom and when I walk outside and take a deep breath it makes me miss her.
