“Lover gave us folklore, let’s see what show girl brings us” is an amazing way to look at it. Lover and Showgirl are in my bottom three albums, folklore is in my top 3. Excited for the next era, if she follows this pattern. I don’t think I’d stay a (current) fan if we get another Lover or Showgirl album.

Lover gave us Folklore- is an understatement. She was pissed no one loved Reputation like she did, nor did the establishment’ acknowledge how good Reputation is. She gave us artsy jazzy, ballads with some pop on Lover- it wasn’t better than Rep… but Folklore is legendary.

God, tloas is so forgettable. There’s nothing stand out about it, it’s like an album full of “me!”. Pop, and some people will swear it’s fantastic but in the grand scheme of things it’s lyrically poor and boring production.
