I actually love his character, Nous hasn’t gazed at him because for that the primary objective must be seeking knowledge for themselves, a more egotistical approach, where Ratio prioritised sharing knowledge with others and that everyone should have access to it. What a man 💙

Erudition is about questioning the universe itself. To ask "If we are born from one life, then what was the first?" yet, that's different from simply deciding that "The question is irrelevant." Dr. Ratio ranks knowledge, he does not see it as merely what is. He doesn't question why gods do things, he simply knows or doesn't. Madam Herta will entertain our stupid questions, while Dr. Ratio would scold us then either teaching us or making us learn better. One sees knowledge as information, not stupid, nor important, just data to be collected and pursue further. Dr. Ratio doesn't question, he merely answers.

I see many people agree on the geniuses of the society being some sort of egotistical hermits that only care about getting more knowledge and that's why Ratio hasn't been gazed but I differ that's not the case but rather that what makes a genius is the curiosity and pursuit on figuring out how the cosmos works and not giving up on that. I base my opinion on Screwlum and Elias Salas caring about people and wanting to share knowledge and ratio focusing more on doing so, lacking that curiosity regardless of what he would do with it
