I was in ICU for 5 days and the absolutely worst thing they gave me was potassium first we did an iv and it burned so bad then they gave me liquid to drink and I threw it up and finally we did pills.

Call me lazy, but I love that I’ve never had to do this. All the TPN comes from pharmacy prepared.

Es una nutrición parenteral y es para pacientes que están fallos de alguno de los componentes y no pueden hacer uso de el tracto gastrointestinal para ingerir los alimentos, ejemplo pacientes sedados en UCI. El que es blanco leche corresponde a los lípidos por ejemplo, se le agrega también aminoácidos y soluciones de dextrosa, muchos otros electrolitos

mn trước khi học y có dùng bơm kim tiêm dễ k, ý là kiểu hút nc ấy. trc mik thử nghịch mà kéo k có lên bằng 1 tay dc luôn, phải dùng 2 tay mới hút nước lên được 🫠

No RN in the USA makes TPNs. This is a pharmaceutical company or pharmacy that prepares because everything she did is not the USA process. Coming from someone who has worked in pharmacy for over 20 yrs. Just saying.
