Working at a Toyota dealership, we've had some customers come in with a panic because they got a recall letter only for it to be for a software issue in the digital gauge panel that's fixed with a software update. All that happens pre recall is that the screen might blackout for a few seconds when you turn the car on.

Fun fact: Honda did a recall on odysseys in 2013 because the name was placed on the wrong side of the back. It sounds weird but it’s just to make sure the value of the vans doesn’t go down

Remembers me Jeep Grand Cheroke recall about injectors. Then new ones after recall fail with all fuel system with metal shavings everywhere. 😅

Haha “call don’t walk in” my mum Citroen had an airbag recall two hours on hold on the phone, so I drove down to the nearest dealership took me 15 minutes to get there after 10 minutes of waiting. I’ve got an appointment, three months later was the earliest date they could book it
