@itseveyevev: overthinking is the art of creating problems that weren’t even there and it’s telling you lieeeees about why you “can’t start yet”. save this for the next time your brain tries to sell you on one of them!! lie 1 - there is not enough time, but you and me know deep down that it’s not about time, it’s about priorities. lie 2 - that I need to keep researching. but it gets to a point where “researching” just becomes procrastination and avoidance of actually doing the hard thing lie 3 - the job market is bad and therefore, I need to hold on even tighter to my job. babes, even the best performers are getting laid off so go build your own empire before you build others’ lie 4 - I’m going to collect more letters at the end of my name (aka credentials). no shade to the people who’ve gotten MBAs, but everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned by being in the job, doing, and trying.. not because of some piece of paper I paid an ungodly amount for lie 5 - waiting for the perfect time. there is no such thing… that’s it. #overthinking #quityourjob #buildinginpublic #laidoff #startingover
