Apollo, Can you explain something I’ve noticed on LinkedIn? I’ll see people, often pretty senior - publicly engaging with each other’s posts saying things like “we need to catch up” or “miss working with you,” but they’re not even connected.
I get not wanting to add everyone you’ve worked with, but it seems like people still keep tabs on each other and interact publicly anyway. It feels a bit performative, or at least strategic, and I’m curious what’s actually driving that behavior.
Is this just how corporate networking works, or is there something else going on? I feel like me being on the spectrum/neurodivergent makes it hard for me to understand

Here in Australia that’d be way too long. If someone asks a question you give them a line or 2. “How was your weekend” “good, went out for dinner with mates. How was yours?” If they ask more questions then you keep talking.
