There is no end to rainbows cuz their an optical illusion from the suns light and mix or moisture (even if it’s not enough moisture in the air) all he’s seeing is a ring from the suns light being directly above him so the phones camera is showing what’s call a sun halo I guess but I just consider this is just a ring made by the suns rays or light beaming straight down on earth from the moon mark of its peak I saw this a couple times in my life probably more and just didn’t care lol cuz if u look at the suns rays u can see the rings of light that it’s condensed rays of light making what we see as a circle around it
