@thecoloradodogs: When we first got Bears cancer diagnosis I was absolutely crushed. I couldn't fathom how the dog who lost his owner, then spent 6 months in the shelter was now diagnosed with cancer. I am still incredibly sad about his diagnosis, but I've been doing my best to see it from a different perspective. Bear was in a rural shelter in Wyoming, at his age and with his health, he is very lucky that he even made it out of there. I truly believe that Piper sent him to us, so Bear could live out his last chapter in a home with people and dog siblings who love and spoil him everyday. He's a happy boy and his intense anxiety that he had when he first came to us is slowly fading. To me, that is what truly matters. Every dog deserves to live out their life in a home filled with peace and love and unfortunately far too many dogs do not get that opportunity #seniordogs #rescuedog #shelterdogsrock #dogsoftiktok #hospice
