This was a strategic tax write off in a broader tax plan with the merger of Warner and Discovery. Basically, the beans counters determined that spending the additional money to totally finish and marketing costs could not offset the tax write off. Loved Rental Family. Brendon Fraser can ACT. Small movies like Rental Family rely on the character to advance the plot and keep our interest. He was perfect for the role. So he can do super villains and a guy just trying to make a living in a foreign country with equal success. 🥰🥰

I grew up watching everything you have done, but The Mummy Franchinse is by far my fav even though I have so many! Inkheart is also one of my favs ❤️Anything you do, is amazing and can imagine Batgirl would be such a fun watch! You go Brendon 😉

Still pissed with WB for scrapping this but letting The Flash happen. With the direction they’re going now though unfortunately it’s probably never gonna see the light of day. Maybe we can convince Gunn and Safran to release it as an elseworlds movie someday because it sounds like a great film and Brendan Fraser’s work deserves to be seen
