hey guys i saw some of your comments and i just want to say you’re right!!! i got really emotional talking about this topic and in that moment i wasn’t as mindful with my words as i should’ve been and used Gods name in vain… and i take that seriously, because if i’m going to speak about God i want to do that with intention and respect!!! but at the same time i’m not perfect and i’m growing in my walk just like everyone else and i’m choosing to share that journey in real time! so i hear you and receive it and i’ll be more mindful moving forward 🤍 God bless you all!

The most valuable thing in this world is knowing God,social media doesn’t show that. Social media shows you cars, jewelry, traveling. And without you even realizing it slowly and surely, your mind and subconscious starts thinking that that’s what good life actually looks like. Am not gonna sit here and lie to you and be hypocritical I like nice things, I have nice things as well. What I have learned from that is that such a feeling doesn’t last forever, instant gratification. You get it, you enjoy it and then you are back to where you were and you gonna want the next nice thing. And then it gets to a point where you have to ask yourself like, is this actually fulfilling me or am just gonna keep chasing that moment?. There is a difference between feeling good for a moment and having peace that stays with you forever. And in the Bible there is a verse that basically says like what profit do you gain if you get the whole world but you lose your soul, what do you gain? You got a whole emptiness, you gat awhole nothing, you gonna have everything but you gonna have nothing at the same time. All these people that have got money, status and attention, I hope you know they are missing one thing,it’s peace. We weren’t created to be fulfilled by things, we were created to be fulfilled by him. And how do you apply that it’s by you starting to shift what you chase. Instead of you constantly seeking validation from instagram and who is liking what and what you are posting and how many followers you have. Why don’t you seek God daily, spend time with him even if it’s a few minutes. Pray, read the Bible, Get the Bible app and it will send the Bible verse of the day everyday. Talk to him like he is your close friend instead of ranting on your close friends, rant to your actual close friends. Because those close friends you have on instagram probably don’t give goddamn about you like Jesus Christ do so wake up and once you do that you will how your desire for things change. It’s one of the most amazing feelings in the world. And that conviction you gain, nothing can buy that. You will still appreciate nice things, but it won’t have control over you anymore.
