@formarity_: Somewhere in Chengdu, there is a biophilic, organically modern building that has the kind of white interior that feels like it’s from another universe. The vibes are futuristically eerie, fitting for what it is – a luxury postpartum care center. Aiyue’s design seems to reflect and symbolize new life, new beginnings, taking the postpartum journey to a different level.   Completed in 2019 by BDD Design as a flagship postpartum care center in one of Chengdu's high-end residential districts, Aiyue is split between maternal recovery and newborn care across 12,000 square metres. The design concept centers on creating a genuinely calm environment for new mothers, with flowing organic forms, soft materials and carefully controlled light throughout. The centerpiece is a three-storey inner courtyard atrium washed in simulated natural sunlight via CoeLux technology – artificial light engineered to replicate the quality and depth of real daylight. Beyond recovery, the center offers yoga, spa, fitness, hairdressing, baking studios and boutique art spaces.   📷 Archdaily
